documents that the amendment of the
H.K. Opium Ordinance in 1924, and the
promulgation of the King's Regulations
for the control of the carriage of opium
from the Persian Gulf in British Ships
have, to a considerable extent achieved
their object in restricting the oppor-
tunities of this firm to carry on their
traffic
